Toyota Land Cruiser 250

Weaknesses, engine ratings and buying advice

4.0 / 5.0 · Based on 2 engine variants · How we rate

The LC250 (2024–present) is the biggest Land Cruiser reinvention in decades. TNGA-F platform, T24A-FTS 2.4L twin-turbo hybrid (326 hp, 465 lb-ft), 10-speed auto, full-time 4WD with front and rear diff locks. Most capable factory Land Cruiser ever.

First-year issues: transmission solenoid TSB (shudder, limp mode — warranty replacement), rearview camera freeze recall, CarPlay instability, brake squeal in reverse. All manageable.

Too new for long-term data. 2026 market: MSRP ~$57,000 USD / €62,000. Used examples rare, near MSRP. Exceptional resale value. Buy new or CPO if possible.
