LPG tanks must be inspected and replaced if necessary after 10 years (mandatory inspection). Internal corrosion from condensation is possible.

The electronic steering lock sporadically jams and prevents engine start. Display shows 'turn steering wheel + START' without success. Documented on ECO-G: replacement part unavailable for weeks, vehicle had to be recovered multiple times.

KBA recall 0EKB (January 2025): on 5,659 vehicles produced March to October 2024, the required torque was not achieved on the rear stub axle bolts. A rear wheel may come loose while driving. 1,032 vehicles affected in Germany.

The 8-inch MediaNav display fails to start after a long standstill or freezes while driving. Affects all drivetrain variants. Switching ignition off and on helps temporarily; a software update at the dealer is often the only lasting fix.

The 12V battery shows warnings such as 'battery low' or 'safety mode' after only a short standstill. Particularly common with short-trip drivers and in winter. The energy management system only charges the battery under overrun conditions, which is insufficient in city traffic. Battery replacement sometimes needed as early as 35,000 km.

Front brake discs and pads wear significantly faster than expected on some vehicles. Documented in forums: MOT failures due to worn discs at only 23,000 km, repair costs around €700. Hybrid drivetrains show much less wear due to regenerative braking.

Dacia provides only 6 years of perforation warranty instead of the industry standard 12 years. Even on new vehicles, suspension parts and wheel arch edges show surface rust. Forums recommend retrofitting cavity sealant and underbody wax as a precaution, especially in regions with road salt.

On some vehicles, water enters the front passenger footwell through a poorly bonded windscreen seal. Clogged drainage channels in the doors can also cause interior moisture. Covered by warranty if occurring within the first two years.

Isolated reports of leaking front shock absorbers below 36,000 km. Oil weeping from the damper housing, initially without noticeable loss of ride comfort. Replacement parts are difficult to source as individual dampers are often only available as a set of four. For 2026 Dacia has revised the springs and dampers.
