QX60 V6 โ€” smooth family hauler, CVT is the gamble

265 hp, smooth-revving VQ V6 โ€” the engine is not the problem. The Jatco CVT below it is. A 2014-2016 QX60 with the 3.5 port-injected V6 is a lottery ticket: some run 200k miles, others shudder to a $6,000 transmission rebuild at 80k. If the CVT is healthy, the VQ will run long after.
