Symptoms: Engine suddenly cuts out while driving, difficult to restart
Some HR-V e:HEV owners report jerky pull-away behaviour and unsmooth power delivery in hybrid mode. Often resolvable via software updates.

Vehicle Weaknesses 4
The large infotainment displays inside freeze every few days, show black screens or grey-striped images.
The 12V auxiliary battery can fail, triggering errors in control units.
Since the vehicle brakes predominantly through regeneration, the mechanical rear brakes are rarely used and the discs corrode.
A fault in the locking mechanism can prevent the charge port door from opening, requiring manual release via the engine compartment.
