The T1XX Escalade is GM's most technically ambitious SUV: OLED display spanning the full width, Super Cruise, air suspension. The 6.2L L87 delivers a solid 425 hp. The tech complexity comes at a price โ air suspension and electronics are more failure-prone than the predecessor.

Clear coat peels especially on front fenders and hood. Multiple NHTSA complaints documented. Dealer repaint often covered under goodwill.
Super Cruise driver assistance deactivates sporadically or is unavailable on mapped road sections. OTA software updates resolve most cases.
38-inch OLED display shows burn-in effects, flickering, or partial blackouts. Replaced under warranty, expensive out-of-warranty (>$2,000). Display dims significantly in direct sunlight.
